This project was done as a group project with 8 other attendees from all around the world at the RCR Arquitectes Workshop on Landscape and Architecture in Girona Spain. The objective was to design a retreat space to promote creative activity for the users of the nearby RCR Laba Nave. This was done while trying to understand RCR’s humanistic approach to architecture.
This project worked to answer the following design question: How can the existing Nave be transformed into an intimate retreat and a creative space integrated to its surroundings in a way to promote a more balanced and harmonious relation between man and nature?
